Dear colleagues, dear friends,

Following the Mulhouse edition, we are delighted to welcome you to the 25th edition of the SOFAMEA congress, which will take place from February 2 to 4, 2027, at the Carré des Alliés, in Rennes.

A city of art and history at the heart of Brittany, Rennes is known for its historic half-timbered old town, the Parliament of Brittany, and one of the most vibrant cultural and culinary scenes in western France. With its lively student atmosphere, the city offers our attendees a warm and stimulating setting to discover Breton heritage beyond the scientific sessions.

This 25th edition will be devoted to the theme Motor Control Analysis at the Service of Clinical Practice. Our ambition is to bring together researchers and clinicians around a shared perspective bridging fundamental and clinical research, with one common goal: to better understand motor control in order to better treat and support patients.

The SOFAMEA congress remains a not-to-be-missed event for physicians, surgeons, allied health professionals, researchers, and engineers involved in movement analysis in children and adults. These three days will be an opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange, sharing experience, and discovering the latest scientific and technological advances in the field.
